And so there is certainly more stringent regards when you're using a company card.
Most people here probably wouldn't want to have that because it's just too much oversight.
And I'm not doing it just because of myself.
I'm looking at future people as well.
There could be seniors that take up this position that no longer use credit cards, much as I'm a senior myself.
It shouldn't exclude you from being a commissioner.
And so again, this is optional.
And I don't see any reason why other cities and counties have their elected officials using cards.
And we are saying because of something that happened
many, many years ago with a few, that everybody now is subject to that.
That makes no sense.
