We had a very good presentation by the airport director, Mark Gale. podcast-host

And I'd like to thank all those involved, to include our Deputy County Administrator, Kevin Callahor, as well as our folks, Nina McPherson from Perry Airport, and Mike Nanomaker, also. podcast-host

And everybody who was involved in making that event a success. podcast-host

the library staff and others, folks felt comfortable, they were secure, and they got their voices heard. podcast-host

And so this is the first step in trying to ensure that the community surrounding Perry Airport and beyond feel safe in that area. podcast-host

We talked about the renaming ceremony at the multi-service complex. podcast-host

Again, I'd like to thank the City of Miramar Commission for the honor. podcast-host

I along with other my colleagues attended the Port Everglades business luncheon and it's always good to interact with our folks from the port and get updates about the goings-on at Port Everglades so thank you to the PA. podcast-host

In addition, I attended the Broward AFL-CIO Labor Ball, and that was a great testament to our labor force, making sure we honor them, and they paid homage to our firefighters at that event. podcast-host
