If we think about something like
Um the atomic clock, for example, right?
We're always defining times and term time in terms of the the the particular events, right?
So we look at particular times.
I think that works this way, right?
For for for for uh for for certain kinds of decay to happen that are generally regular or something like this, right?
And we have this kind of assumption or this idea that there's something regular behind this, right?
But we never seem to access, we never access that regular thing through the measurement itself.
all it's all kind of looking at particular events and their regularity and how they're related to other events, things like this, which is how we generally define time.
And it seems like they're they're doing something similar, but without the assumption that there is some independent kind of um uh basic uh
time behind any of these kind of uh b any of these these these comparisons between various different events and and how they take place.
They think there's something there, but it's but but it's this kind of ground of being right that I was talking about before that can be conceptualized in certain ways.
Yeah, so it's is related to this, right?
So the the way that I read all of these various c uh kind of central concepts like time and it's and chul and others, things like this, are that they're they're they're all dependent on this uh on this ground of being, right?
But the ground of being itself is something much like the kind of the numinal or the Tao or something like this, uh which is which is which can't be characterized ultimately in terms of things like its or chul or or any of the other things that we want to talk about.
that that's the basis of all of all of those.
And so in some sense, right, it seems like it's it's transcended, right?
Um even though I kind of make this this argument that um there's a single world, um th we can understand transcendence as the kind of
The hiddenness, right, of aspects of of of this world.
