One of the things that I found in Cold War is that much of the attacks that take place are coordinated with other military operations, whether that's missile strikes or other activity.
So of course they're doing espionage operations on a regular basis to get access to companies or to government organizations that could give them more information.
But when it comes to wiper attacks like we've seen with Stryker, ultimately they want to time those with more strikes, with more effective military operations to get the maximum impact possible.
Absolutely, especially with a threat actor that is this dedicated to the supposed cause, they are pushing to get into the organizations that make the most sense, both from a publicity standpoint and an impact standpoint.
So the fact that Stryker had contracts, large contracts with the US military, the fact that they had a presence in Israel through an acquisition in 2019, and of course that they're a US publicly traded large company, all factored in to why they were the perfect target in this situation.
