And we started casting the show.
And that was a very stressful experience.
We had very little time to do it.
We had about three months to cast everyone.
And these characters were really difficult to cast.
So we wanted them to be teenagers, ideally.
We wanted them to look like the comic characters.
Obviously, they had to be able to portray the characters.
And it was just very quickly clear that although we saw hundreds of videos of really talented young people...
Hardly any of them could be the characters.
You know, we just had such a specific vision.
It was really difficult to find people who you were like, oh, that's that character.
Fortunately, we eventually found our lovely cast.
It was all made complicated by the fact that this was COVID time.
So most of the auditions were on Zoom.
Somehow it all worked out and they're great.
So...
Toby Donovan, who would like to ask you this.
