This is a huge violation of FIFA.

The same way that South Africa

was barred from international competitions and on all levels for decades under apartheid.

And you would be banned to even compete with them.

And of course, when things changed and apartheid was gone, South Africa became actually a host of the World Cup

And if I remember correctly, I think it was 2010 that South Africa was the host.

What a sea change.

That's why the same situation needs to apply to Iran.

Now, it's not about the players.

It's not about athletes.

Actually, athletes are actually the ones who are being suppressed.

One of them that we recently talked about is Habib Khabili, who was the captain of Iranian national soccer team, who scored the winning goal that got Iran to the World Cup final.

For the first time, he was executed because of his ties with the MEK in June of 1984.

That's the real message of the Iranians, that they will honor the athletes who were killed by the regime, but also honoring tens of thousands of people who have been murdered.

And the message is hope.

The message is that the world has to realize it's the people of Iran and their organized resistance that are the future, not the regime.
