But a vast majority of the Iranian population are not like that.

And they feel increasingly angry at the Revolutionary Guards because they are the ones who are plundering the wealth off of the people.

80% of the Iranian population live below the poverty line.

And this number is very close to the actual official number that they put out.

So it's not that something that you just made up.

Now, how does that happen?

Well, we have a rich country.

We have the second largest oil and gas reserves combined in the world.

We have anything you mentioned, we have it in Iran in terms of resources, tremendous manpower, all of that.

But because it's dominated by the Revolutionary Guards, people are getting poor.

Now, we have had so many different demonstrations, protest acts, waves of protests since 2017, several rounds of it.

In none of those protests, no matter how they started, the people never directed their anger outside of Iran.

They always hold the regime itself accountable for what's really happening to them.

Even during the war, and you know, wars are always very complicated, that's why

You know, we always said that war is not a solution.

We maintain that position again, repeatedly.

We say it last year, we say it this year.

We need to look at the solution internally, domestically.

Now, how do you turn that anger of the population that is there into change?
