A very, very long time, yes.
I don't even dare count it, but I will say I interviewed Andy Burnham in 2009 when he was launching his plan for a national care service.
The first time round.
So I do feel I've been here.

So then his plan was to put a £20,000 levy on people's estates after they died to fund a national care service.
That in the general election became dubbed a death tax.
By the Conservatives.
And in a sense, it also started this real political football, which I'm sure we'll get into, which went on for years.

My, you do have a good memory.
Absolutely.
He referred to his father who has Alzheimer's and praised the staff.
There was one lovely phrase where he talked about the way they communicated with him brought out the essence of his dad.
And so he was celebrating that, but also talking about the difficulties and the horror of navigating this system.
And like Jim, you know, I've spoken to so many families who they arrive at this point of a crisis in their family's life because it might be a younger person with a disability or it might be an older person with dementia or who needs help.
And they're confronted by a confusing system.
Often they think it's the NHS will help them, but it doesn't because it's about personal care, help with day to day living.
No, you have to go to your local council quite often.
You'll be means tested.
