It's come out today that James Holmes, the Colorado shooter, sent a package to the University of Colorado Denver before the shooting.

He sent it.

It was addressed to one of his former professors.

And he sent it before the shooting, but it wasn't found until now in the mailroom.

And there's a gag order on all the people involved.

So we're not going to find out for a little while exactly what was in there.

But what came out before the gag order took was...

There was a letter.

It mentioned shooting.

There were some crude drawings involving stick figures and people shooting.

So, of course, now people are like, if they had gotten the package sooner, would they blah, blah, blah?

Could it have been prevented?

Yeah.
