Right, like when it aired, do you think there was someone who worked on it who was like, fuck, we forgot Farina.
It's possible.
So we all kind of agreed that Ellen did a good job and it was a pretty good Oscars, right?
Because it was interesting because then I got home and Daniel had been at an Oscars party.
And the consensus there was that it was really not good at all and that she's not the right kind of host.
It was strange to just – two different group watchings and such a different feeling about it.
And it made me wonder, had I been there, would I have seen it in a different way?
She's very divisive, that Ellen.
It's surprising because I can't think of someone who's less polarizing.
Here's what I would say.
It felt small.
Yeah, I think this...
Oscars, it always felt like she was talking right to you or the presenters were presenting right to you.
You didn't get the sense that this is a giant production.
And maybe that's what was missed.
