released all players from what we had called eligibility restrictions.
So any player is welcome to play anywhere in the world, actually, if they wish to, and will still be eligible for selection for the silver films.
And we did that because while there is uncertainty about what forms of domestic competition we can offer at home...
People need freedom of choice and the opportunity to keep working and the opportunity to keep playing at an elite level.
So they are free.
It's really important that we find a solution that maintains a pathway from community all the way through the podium.

The landscape for broadcasters is different.
I know that our relationship with Sky and with TVNZ, our natural partners, is really strong.
In fact, there's going to be some really good product to watch starting on Saturday from the Commonwealth Games from Netball New Zealand through Sky.
But we do have to recognise that
free-to-air is free for consumers, but it's not free for TV and it's not free for Netball New Zealand.
So we're still working through that model, and I expect these discussions will continue for a couple of months.
