I am in the lovely town of Bessemer, Alabama, right outside of Birmingham where we have a manufacturing facility.

Sure.

Yeah, I think uh what you mentioned before about the entrepreneurial approach we take with our departments, which are now companies and the way we

really approach franchising, it's um we really focus on entrepreneurial thinking.

um and I think starting back with

my background as a kid, I think I counted at one point

uh thirteen businesses that I started before I got into high school.

And then uh then I went to college and got an army RTC scholarship, so

I've spent five years active duty in the military, which is a great place to learn leadership and

in process and uh it's got a lot of good

learnings out of that and after I got out of the active duty I went into active reserves for a little bit.

and started um doing ERP consulting so I learned a lot about how to

grow and run a business putting in software and uh financial and and HR software into large companies like Hawaiian Airlines or Hyatt.

and learned how businesses really ran and then I started my own company.

So I started had two startups.

Uh started a home technology company back in two thousand two.

And uh started that, grew it very rapidly and sold it.
