Although I find it fascinating that Ralph Lauren is still such a large presence, because especially the American flag tends to be very prominent on their clothes.
You know, I think an interest in American culture and American goods and services certainly seems to outlast a lot of presidents.
And I think, you know, Americans have just sort of delighted in seeing a lot of the World Cup fans coming from around the world and really enjoying a lot of sort of quirky American cultures.
So I think people put aside politics and who a president is, is it to sort of, I think, come together in culture.
And I think that is one nice aspect of globalization.
It is, although I think there's certainly more of a shift towards less trade in both goods and services and using more services locally.
So it's like I think, you know, in America right now, there's just this weird obsession with our deficit in trading goods.
Well, as an economist, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me, especially because I said we really do so well trading services.
And that's a big part of our economy.
