There was a fashion movement throughout U.S.
history that was really defined by this incredibly tailored looks, incredibly well polished.
And it was kind of a fighting back and a pushback and a rejection.
I wouldn't call it a rejection, but a way to kind of reclaim through fashion.
And it's this very incredible, these incredible suits, very well tailored outfits.
colors are generally around like a black and a red um but it really shows and it continues throughout i think american fashion history but um it really kind of just shows this incredible polish um that was very very big and important for for you know african for the black population in the u.s but now and now back to your favorite looks yes
Tiana Taylor, phenomenal.
Lewis Hamilton, Coleman Domingo, I think were amazing.
Zendaya's suit really showed the tailoring aspect, and I think it was just completely white, and so I think that contrast really was amazing.
um who else was really great um shibuzi i think was phenomenal io debory was phenomenal i just think so many people looked really good lewis i don't even know i said lewis hamilton i think he looked great um damson idris also did the ode to the f1 movie he has coming out and kind of did a rip away into an incredible suit so i think everyone just looked really really good and um it was dandy as hell nikki do you have any thoughts you have any favorites
And I think it was also an incredible theme.
It was picked, I know, sometime in October where I think the national, we were in a different space as a nation.
So I think to have the year that we are having and then get to have a Met Gala really celebrating, you know, how iconic in American history, black fashion, specifically black dandyism has been, I think was really incredible for, you know, the black community.
