So there you have that.
I'm going to pull up some other clips of Carmelo's parents talking about their response to this, where they feel as though things may have gone wrong in this process, things that they would have changed.
I'll play a clip here.
This one is circulating pretty widely right now.
So a lot of that was unintelligible, but much, I guess, if I had to sum that up, one of the big mistakes they feel as though they made was going with a white lawyer.
So again, another play back to race and the racial elements of this case.
And they've also spoken about the white jury, which according to reports was not an all white jury, but I digress.
When in reality, for jury selection for this case, there were black people present.
Those black people were interviewed and they admitted to racial bias.
They admitted that the racial elements of this case would influence what they did as far as a conviction, guilty or not guilty.
And they could not be a part of this case.
because of that admission to racial bias so what is it with this tendency to keep going back to race i don't know but i'm like looking at the elements of this i'm thinking okay this it sort of makes sense how we've ended up in this situation this is carmelo anthony's grandmother outside the court
I'll wait for this to load so that you can hear the rest of what she has to say.
Hopefully we can get through it because she starts talking about how white people can just do whatever the F they want.
That's what she's screaming as she's leaving the court after what's taken place here between the two of them.
So again, like grandmother, mother, father, all about race.
It's about a white lawyer.
It's about a white jury.
It's about white people being able to get away with everything.
And as this crowd is outside protesting the court proceedings, screaming at this grieving family, she's egging it on.
