I could be very wrong here.
So just stick with me.
But my gut feeling is when it comes, I have a lot of love for CNN.
I was working there as a contributor for years.
They were good to me, but there was a time to move on because one, I want to work in other fights, but it was very clear to me that cable's dying.
We all know this.
And so on one hand, I think you just have to let the dinosaurs die because
The only reason that Donald Trump is able to exercise this degree of influence and control over these mergers is because they're legacy media companies.
I mean, the FCC stuff that they're threatening investigations only apply to this old form media.
And that is not where the growth is.
It just isn't, period.
And thank God, thank God the growth is with the streamers where there's much more independence.
I mean, it's the reason why the bulwark is so extremely successful is because it's been innovative and nimble and taken advantage of the new ground that's being plowed.
And this is like always the story when it comes to
not only media, but America invention in general is that we evolve and this is clearly evolving.
And so, you know, it's terrible.
It's absolutely awful.
What happened to CBS news?
It's awful.
What's going to happen to CNN most likely, but there's gotta be people who are ready to plow time and energy into the new ground.
