But I think deep down that we knew

Something bad had happened just because, like I said, she would never go long periods of time without contacting us.

And just the fact of calling everywhere we could think of to find her if something bad happened, where she'd be at a hospital or something, if she was in a coma or, you know, someone would have record of her being somewhere.

I think that alone kind of made us have that gut feeling of thinking something really bad happened and this person wasn't lying.

Before we even got a phone call, I believe that we saw it on the news first that, you know, they had found bodies and you see, you know, dogs and helicopters and police everywhere.

And we definitely saw a human skull.

I don't know if it was my sister's or whose it was, but I remember seeing that.

There must be, you know, either one really crazy person out there or, you know, there's many theories that it was a mafia dumping ground.

So it was like you didn't know what to believe until people were actually identified.

And just the fact that that many people were there, it's, I don't know, just to think that's okay to do that.

It's insane.

There's beaches there, like people go there.

I mean, obviously that stretch at night is very desolate, but during the day, I mean, it's a busy place.

And in the summer, it's even busier.

Not necessarily.

There's too many monsters out there to pinpoint.

Even as a kid, I knew that, you know, there's crazy people out there.

The only thing that was really shared back then was that they were strangled, so we really didn't have many details back then.

Everything was kind of, whatever they did have was hush-hush to try to not have people ruin the investigation, but I definitely remember learning that they were strangled then.
