Two brothers and another sister.

We lived in Buffalo together until she was around 16.

And then she moved to Texas with her dad for a little while.

She didn't like it there too much.

So she came back.

But while she was away, we would talk on the phone all the time and she'd send me letters in the mail.

She'd draw, you know, drawings and she made me a nightlight because she knew I was afraid of the dark.

So she tried to help with that.

And she'd send me my first pair of real earrings when I finally got my ears pierced.

Before that, she would send me the sticker kind.

She took me to the first time I visited her in the Bronx.

We took a cab all the way to Pennsylvania to Dorney Park and she got me to ride my first roller coaster.

She seemed like she liked adventure.

Yeah, she did.

She definitely did.

She would go on those slingshot rides, you know, the theme parks and stuff.

I'm like, you're nuts.

You couldn't pay me to go on something like that.

But she loved it.

Oh, yeah, I cried my eyes out.
