And one of the things that's unique about Jasmine is she's also not a career politician.

she came into this space as an adult.

So like when I got into comedy, I was already like 35, right?

So I wasn't, I had less ability to be indoctrinated or to really be like molded by who was there.

And I also had a faster pace of success because I already knew my voice.

And I think that's part of what we're witnessing with Jasmine.

She's coming into this position as a grown woman who has already got her bones about her.

And who doesn't need it.

She doesn't need this position.

She could go back and make way more money if that was her goal as a lawyer.

I think the other thing, though, is when we talk about Democrats, one of the issues with Democrats is that just like Republicans, many of them are very much married to corporate dollars as well as APAC.

So unless you are truly disconnecting from that, you can't really remodel what the function of the party is because it's still controlled by the same levers, even if the intentions of the representatives are different.
