And again, I want to just bring to people something very simple that they can grab onto because I think a lot of these conversations around politics, around the infrastructure of things, they do go over our heads by design, right?

business around taxes it should not require an entire industry to give away your money right you shouldn't have to pay somebody to pay somebody but they create these systems to make it difficult so i try and simplify are you like donald trump do you think we should get rid of the irs i'm not saying i don't know i think that at the end of the day
We are not taxing fairly.
If the IRS was existing for the enactment of fair taxation, then so be it.
So I am not like Donald Trump in any way.
Don't ever say that again.
But I was saying all that because I always want to ground it in something very, very basic, which is really just asking yourself, like, do I care about everybody?
Do I care about anybody else?
And some of us might say, I don't care.
Enough.
I don't care enough.
And just for the record, again, DEI was never about lowering criteria.
It was about expanding who has access to the position based on ways in which they were limited before.
The criteria remained the same.
It was not a...
top-down shift it was a lateral shift if we're only looking at these people who meet the criteria what happens if we expand and look at all of these people who meet the criteria wow we're getting such a bigger group of folks to look at and that's important yeah we need to fish in the ocean rather than a pond so um look this is fun i think that i think that one more thing that i want to tell you to remember that people lie and people fell for this lie
