So I was a big comedy sketch improv girl in Chicago before we lived in Chicago for about 10 years.

And honestly, I think this is probably everybody's story.

I got laid off from the comedy club at the top of the pandemic.

And I was all getting fired.

Best thing that ever happened to me, right?

We literally bought a condo in Chicago with my unemployment checks.

Because I don't know if y'all got unemployed during the pandemic, but those checks were fast.

Let me off again.

And so I got laid off from the comedy club.

And then I was like, well, Ben, maybe I can just whatever sketches I was going to possibly write or do on stage.

Maybe I can kind of recreate those with funny things we do.

Like I'm the dramatic person.

You're playing the straight man trope in the comedy set.

So I was like, let's just replay that.

And people love that energy.

oh we met on tinder really yes very romantic i know so many tinder people or like hinge tinder and hinge yeah people meet on dating that's crazy they do well to be fair this was in like 2014 2015 so this is when dating apps the application not like you know there's always been christian mingling e-harmony and stuff like that but tinder was supposed to be america's hookup app yeah i was like

Oh, are we hooking up virtually?

Hell yeah.

So I literally got on.
