Where do women begin when they are starting from scratch or rebuilding their love life after divorce?

That's a deep one.

I remember when I became single and I was like, I am not going on the dating apps.

I think internally, I just didn't trust myself enough until I had a girlfriend sit down and say, Amber, listen to me, you have to.

And I said, but why?

And she goes, because you've never dated.

I got married at 20, jumped into relationship and was in that relationship for almost seven years after that.

I didn't know what dating was.

In my experience, what I learned through dating is you learn about yourself

And I know that sounds so simple and easy, but it was a foreign concept.

I was like, of course I know what I want.

I want someone who has, you know, who's loving and kind and stable and a good example for my kids to show my kids what, you know, what respect and to love a woman looks like.

And someone that's, you know, mirrors kind of how my dad is with my mom and all these beautiful things.

But until I went out there, I was like, oh, my idea of what I want, what I think I want versus what I really want are two separate things.

And thank God I decided to try the dating apps.
