Yeah, it's fascinating to me how long it took people to realize when someone was missing back then.
Because like you said, they would go away and then they wouldn't just they wouldn't get word from them.
They wouldn't get a letter or whatever.
Like it could be weeks.
It's a miracle they even solved murders back then.
And H.H.
Holmes is one of those ones where there's so many stories have come out of that that can never be proven to this day.
Newspapers just started saying so much about him.
And so what I also love though is obviously they tore down the castle, and I say castle in quotation marks, and there's now a post office there.
And so these poor postal workers, they talk constantly about
how things go on, especially in the basement.
And, you know, they have instances where chairs will stack on their own.
They hear footsteps, they hear voices, and it's famously haunted.
And I'm sure they don't sign up for that when they decide to go work for the post office.
And then suddenly they're like, oh, just so you know, this is the basement of the H.H.
Holmes murder castle.
So but yeah, they I would love to get in there to investigate.
