You say that, and I honestly, I'm sorry, apologetically, you have lost all credibility with me as being an objective member of the media.
If you can say that with a straight face, if you can't admit that Mike Matheson has had nowhere near a flawless season this year, then I can't take you seriously to be objective and honest about bigger things than this.
Well, listen, also, there have been at least one member of the media this week who has said this, and so apparently we are allowed to talk about Matheson in these terms, that he has embraced his role as a defensive defenseman and as a penalty killer.
He's embraced his role.
Doesn't mean he's good at it.
It doesn't mean anything.

You can you can agree with all of them, but all they are saying are things that go towards Mike Matheson's character or Mike Matheson as a person.
