They will then take that person inside, and they will exclusively negotiate with that person.
They'll give them the opportunity at the reserve, or they'll open up negotiations.
If they can't pull a deal together, they'll go outside and talk to that next person.
So people just don't plan for that.
They come inside.
Every agent is totally different in how they negotiate.
Some agents will say, all right, you've got five minutes.
If you don't pay this, I'm going to that person.
Some people will allow more time.
Everyone's different.
And it's a very emotional time for a buyer, and they're often not thinking straight.
So we come in there with a level head.
We've got a game plan in place.
We know what we're going to say.
And then it's very interactive with our clients.
This is what the agent is saying.
This is what we're going to be doing next.
And we guide them through that process.
They don't ever come inside with us.
We always have a set budget before the auction and that is our absolute maximum walk away figure and we don't pay a dollar more and that still holds in a pass in as well.
