It's yesterday.

And I say that from a metaphorical perspective, not like specifically on Tuesday yesterday.

It's an asset that compounding growth will reward you over the long run.

The longer you can hold it, the better.

There's a lot of transaction costs in property.

You've got stamp duty if you're not using these first home buyer schemes.

You've got selling costs and so forth.

So you do need time to be able to give you the returns.

And you also want to be able to have time to ride out any fluctuations in the markets.

So we've had a couple of cycles recently, up and down.

The longer you can hold that property, the more you'll smooth out those returns.

So that's just a generic investing advice, I suppose.
