is waiting for Iran's response to its latest offer to end the nearly 10-week-long war.

The one-page memorandum of understanding would have both sides lift their naval blockades, then 30 days of discussions on Iran's nuclear program.

And Bloomberg News has learned the Trump administration is looking at ways to access oil that may be under land at U.S.

military bases and other Defense Department sites.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve is poised to reach its lowest level since 1982, and the administration says it will find ways to refill it.

The Justice Department and Commodity Futures Trading Commission reportedly investigating at least four suspicious transactions in the oil market that made more than $2.6 billion.

Last month, Bloomberg reported the CFTC was looking into a series of oil futures trades ahead of President Trump's policy pivots in the Iran war.

And today, ABC News is reporting the Justice Department is also probing spikes in oil trading ahead of major moves in the war.

President Trump has given a tariff deadline to the European Union.

He posted on social media that he spoke with EU President Ursula von der Leyen.

He says he's given the EU until July 4th to quote, deliver on their side of the trade deal and cut their tariffs to zero.

Otherwise, he says, quote, tariffs would immediately jump to much higher levels.

And President Trump says he's discussed many topics, including trade and tariffs, during his meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

Trump posted on social media that the meeting went very well, calling Lula very dynamic.

The president says Brazilian and U.S.

officials are set to meet again over the coming months to discuss, quote, certain key elements.
