That was one of them.
Another one was my husband actually said to me, like, I never see you.
We're two shifts in the night right now.
Like, and it scared me because I was newly married at the time.
And I thought, okay, I need to get my priorities straight.
And so I know this seems kind of silly, but one of the non-negotiables was a few days a week, I would have coffee with my husband in the morning instead of rushing and getting on my phone right away and starting to work like I was doing, which is very unhealthy.

So that became a non-negotiable that I committed to.
His name is Hobie.
I committed to Hobie that I would do that and we would be present.
We still do that today.
This morning, we had our non-negotiable coffee time 14 years later.
