And instead of going, oh, maybe we should, you know, try to reverse ferret and, you know, move back to the centre right, they're firmly like, we are going to win one nation voters and that's going to get us to government.

Even if you had a throuppolition like One Nation, Nationals and the Liberal Party together, they're cannibalising each other's seats.
There's not enough of those seats to win an election, particularly the next election.
They have to win 28 or 29 seats to win government.
That is mathematically impossible.
But One Nation, party of grievance, everybody's angry.
One Nation tells you you have the right to be angry and that seems like the only true thing in the political sphere.
And I would argue that Labor now is also responsible for the rise of One Nation because Labor have had the power to address all of the issues that, you know, we are experiencing in this find out era.
You know, we've messed around and now we're finding out.
Labor has the power to address that.
They have not addressed that.
They've continued this incrementalism.
And we have reached the same point that the United States reached and the United Kingdom have reached, where people start looking for someone to blame.
And it's always easier to push down than it is to lift everybody else up.
And so Pauline Hanson comes along with Barnaby Joyce in this, you know, Barnson sort of like personality that they have.
saying you have the right to be angry, migrants are the reasons for your woes, the major parties aren't listening to you, we have no policies, we have no answers, but we are telling you that you can lean into your worst impulses.
And that's really attractive to people who feel like they have been left behind.
