And as I've said, I err on the function side.
And it also means I've looked around this morning and gone,
Oh, actually, I wouldn't mind making that spot there a little bit more aesthetic.
And sometimes that just develops with time and budget.
Certainly when we first started having kids and when we first moved into this house, there wasn't budget to make things aesthetically lovely.
We didn't have the budget to buy lovely containers.
We would just buy the containers we could afford.
And so sometimes that aesthetic look can evolve as you evolve yourself.
So there's trade-offs, no matter which one that you use.
So neither system or way of organizing is wrong in itself or particularly right in itself.
You can think a functional system might look messier.
It might use mismatched containers.
But if it's going to work, it's going to work really well and it's quick to implement.
It's easy to move and adjust and be flexible in how you use the space because you're not limited to the exact container that you need to have.
An aesthetic system might take a little bit longer to set up.
It might be a little bit more expensive, but you're going to enjoy looking at it.
It's actually going to be something you pride yourself in.
And remembering in that you don't want to become so fixed on the aesthetics that function goes out the window where you're like, no, this is the size box that the dog lead needs to fit into, even though the dog lead is twice the size and you're like stuck in your thinking.
Sometimes you've got to move and change with it.
So you've got to have those both and you can pick kind of what you want that to be.
