Against Dr. Gerhard Koenig, who was found guilty of attempted manslaughter based on extreme mental or emotional disturbance.

He did actually get a split verdict.

because he was found not guilty on that much more serious charge of second-degree murder.

That would have given him mandatory life in prison.

So, yes, he was found guilty, but I guess you could say it could have been worse.
