So it's kind of sort of like a reinforcement.
Learning model where I uplift my community or my team players.
If you look at an organization, and I said everything around me are doing better.
If we can come together and build something greater than the sum of its parts, then obviously, if I have the motivation or aspiration to have an individual achievement, I will, you know, grow even further.
So the individual
Input into the collective serves as an ethos for an individual journey.
And that is what I've been looking at over the past years: how it came to be that my small home country with only five million people, known for being born with skis on their feet, all of a sudden, you know, rose to all these great achievements, in particular in sports.
That have nothing to do with Norway and winter at all.
You know, you could take Viktor Hovlon in golf, Kasperud in tennis amongst the best in the world.
Even in the US, you have seen Holland, which is a soccer, who's a soccer player, but is now signed as one of the prime figures at Nike next to Lebron James, as you know, the GOAT and the Viking in the campaign.
So we have these crazy achievements.
Achievements.
And if you look at education, politics, and business, you will see similar figures and personalities that have risen above what was normal in Norway.
And I wanted to take a closer look at how is that, you know, how did that come to be?
What is it that makes this Viking code, this ethos of Norwegian high performance so special?
And that's why I wrote this book, The Viking Code.
In order to create a global philosophy and how to activate the vitalism of life, how can we build a high-performance culture that is deeply rooted in values?
Yeah, and that's a very good question.
So in today's world, we are always comparing to an extrinsic goal.
So we rise above to have some kind of huge, gigantic vision.
