I have a dear friend of mine who's been struggling with some challenges with her hearing.
She's been going deaf.
The amount of grief that causes, we don't just take it for granted that we can just hear everything around us and the birds and the sound of the guitar string and these different frequencies that for people that are going deaf or hard of hearing can't pick up anymore.
And you realize what a precious gift sound is.
And I think everybody probably listening to this conversation plays music throughout their days.
I mean, they're listening right now.
It's fascinating how different sound, like we spoke to, evokes different things.
I think leaf blowers should be banned from the place.

Yes, absolutely.
But so like if that's something on one end of the spectrum, you know, to kirtan and meditation music and mantra can be on the other side.
As somebody who's spent their life so deeply steeped in music and sound as a technology, what is your relationship to the sensitivity of sound?
Even before we go into the music and everything, it feels like as you raise your sensitivity in conversation with another person, you can feel where something's coming from more.
You craft your environment to be conducive towards more harmony.
And I'm just curious your thoughts on sensitivity as a sound for you.
I think I first listened more to your music when you did Rise with Willow.
Yeah, interesting.
I mean, Gajendra is probably one of my most replayed songs on that album.
