is other noise, family, society, culture, is a lifelong path.
And I know you've been on your own journey, you know, with that, as we've all had.
how have you clarified what your voice is versus what is another voice that sounds like it's yours?
yeah because that hard wiring to fit in with the tribe is so baked in to our nervous system be accepted to be approved of to not um like color outside the lines you know yeah and it takes courage to color outside of the lines you know what's set for you in the coloring book that was handed to you so to speak yeah um
And to ground it into a little bit more practical, I heard the story of you having a literal visceral example of this when you chose to miss a flight that was going to take you, so to speak, in a different path.
And I think we all have our own versions of that.
But when you've tried to discern what's authentic desire versus what's being driven for performance or conformity, that sounds like that was a great example.
What was it?
So what happened in that moment?
Hmm.
Yeah, it's always easier to connect the dots looking back.
Definitely.
In the moment, it seems like it could, you know, we're magnifying on that example, you know, in that moment.
But of course, we have so many different examples and moments in our life where life relationships work is like pulling us in one direction.
And we have the opportunity to check in and see is that direction that I want to move in.
And that feels true.
