And I have, I've had a lot of requests from clients over the years to put certain little items in their bouquets.

Like if it's like a grandmother's brooch or they want attached or a hanky, I had someone want a small Bible in the bouquet with the floral and there's ways you can do that.

So I've had a lot of requests for stuff, but this was a very unusual request.

So she said, I want something in the middle of my bouquet.

And she said, this is an inside joke.

And I said, okay.

And she slid over a little, looked like a jewelry box size.

And I opened it up and it was a dead alewife.

And if those that don't know what that is, it's a fish.

And it washed up on the shore somewhere off Lake Michigan.

and it was an inside joke and she wanted its little head poking out in the middle of her bouquet and i said oh i can do that so the day of the wedding i set up and did these beautiful decorations and here is this bouquet with this little fish head poking out of the middle of it and i'm like okay

So obviously it was some kind of fun.

And I'm like, they must be a really fun couple.

Yeah, exactly.

It's really different.

I'm like, okay.

So that was very memorable.

One other story, and oh my gosh, this one was crazy.

So when I was working for a floral shop, it was over Valentine's.

And we all know how crazy Valentine's is that-
