It was like, it's the screening programme that I'm sure so many of your audience will be aware of or even aware of it through their own parents as well, that when you're over...
60 years of age, like in the same way as we have breast screening, the cervical screening program, we have a colon screening program for people over the age of 60, where effectively you're kind of sent out, you know, a sample that you submit back.
And for probably, you know, the vast majority of people, that's it.
You don't need to send another one back till the next couple of years passes.
In his case, he did it and was told, yeah,
There's something we want to bring you in for a further checkup, which is all very routine, very normal.
He did that.
Everything was, you know, they said it's stage one, grade one, really nothing to see here.
You don't require any further treatment because, you know, like chemotherapy and radiation are obviously massive, massive drugs to pump to the body and you have to be at a certain level to require that.
Unfortunately for him at that point, he didn't require it.
Effectively, it wasn't bad enough.
And
How did he take that?
Was he a bit shook by it?
Yeah, he would.
He would have been very shook by it.
Yeah, I think we all were.
We were all massively shook because it's kind of hard then to get your head around how the man who never drank and never smoked and is the one doing his exercises for 60 odd, 50 odd years is the one in the house that maybe has this.
