That's a real off-the-cuff question, but do you have any, like, real favourite memory of him when you were younger?

I think probably sailing together.

Yeah.

Yeah, because there wasn't a huge amount of, like, father-daughter duos that did that.

So, like, we would have spent hours together in the water, like, hours.

And, like, an awful lot of that is kind of, you know, because you're...

obviously trying to read the wind and windships.

And so it's a race, like it's a basically triangular, effectively race and, you know, whatever in the bay around buoys and maybe you're sailing in a different area or you're at a competition in Dublin or Dun Laoghaire or Sutton or Cork or wherever.

So, you know, you're not as familiar with that.

So there's obviously a huge amount of kind of logistical issues

like logistical work and that goes into that, you know, and your race and how you're going to plan the race.

And then like the physical capacity of actually hiking out over the side of a boat, you know, off the west coast of Ireland with God knows what, gust five, six wind and waves or whatever comes with it.

So kind of navigating, we would both be very competitive by nature as well.

Like that'd be probably a similarity we have.

would have but I often remember that off the water like other sailors would be slagging us and saying like you know you could hear you roaring at him and you could hear him roaring back at you and you know probably this like South Donegal accent roaring at each other out in the middle of the out in the middle of the bay but um but yeah I think they're kind of my yeah yeah probably spending time with him sailing yeah yeah yeah yeah

And so your dad was obviously very diligent with his health.

Yeah.

And so a healthy man, very active out and about doing his exercises, sailing so active.

I suppose, bring me forward then, if you can, to when, I suppose, things took a turn and he was getting tests, routine, I suppose, tests.
