For for me, I I'd be more comfortable exempting this extra revenue as opposed to changing the formula this year and and here's why. podcast-host

No, and I know folks have been frustrated as we say sort of next year, next year, next year, but frankly, there have been things every year, at least for the last two years, that have caused uncertainty in in how things were gonna go. podcast-host

Last year it was uh federal action around the Department of Education. podcast-host

We weren't sure where things were gonna go there. podcast-host

This year it's the LCI. podcast-host

We obviously sent a letter about that uh uh last week, I think it was. podcast-host

Um, so I just I don't feel comfortable changing the form. podcast-host

Formula while we have uncertainty around this. podcast-host

However, when we talk about going from 415 to 450 or even just 30 cents of that, that wasn't revenue that the cat that the schools was expecting anyway, right? podcast-host

They based their budget off of the proposed tax rates and the proposed revenue projections that was shared with them all the way back at probably the end of 2025. podcast-host

So that's why, at least for this new revenue. podcast-host

I'm comfortable with exempting it because it wasn't revenues that they were at all anticipating um um from there. podcast-host

So again, I'm open to having conversation about the revenue sharing in future years. podcast-host
