I mean, uh,
And occasionally during his during his first term, he and guys like Newsom, as you showed in that clip, would put these kind of fights aside when he was actually the guy in the hot seat in order to to say, OK, we're going to get together for for a minute and solve this problem and then we can go back to to me yelling at you later.
But at the same time, you know.
Trump has been routinely promising, including on the campaign trail just months ago, that unless Newsom gets with the program and does a better job implementing the policies that Trump wants to see him implement in California, that he will not do what Joe Biden is currently doing.
He will not allow FEMA money to be spent on fighting things like California wildfires.
So it's totally an open question what that's going to look like in Trump's second term
If, God forbid, you know, we see we see catastrophes like this happening again.
Yeah, so this was kind of a common line of, I don't know if you'd call it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Don't put the meanest ones up, please.
Okay, go ahead.
It'll hurt my feelings.
I'll lose my train of thought.
It won't be good for anybody.
No, I think I think that during Trump's first term, there was always kind of this open question of the guy is going to say some outrageous kind of cockamamie things that just nobody saw coming.
And they're going to draw a lot of eyeballs because as soon as he says, oh, we're going to do this, everyone has to be like, wait a minute.
Can he do that?
Is this is this possible?
Like what you.
The media has to run and spend a whole lot of energy essentially just sketching out the contours, feeling out the contours of what that actually means.
