It's a Sunday morning event.
And this is not like a one-time thing.
I remember being a couple of years ago down at Turning Point USA's America Fest in Arizona when they were launching their big Turning Point USA faith initiative.
And it was interesting to me.
This was over a weekend.
They started their programming at 9 a.m.
on a Sunday morning and, you know, just having their speakers.
They didn't tell all the kids who were there, go to church and come back.
They said, come on, show up.
We're going to do our programming.
And at night, we ourselves, you know, Charlie Kirk and Eric Metaxas and this praise band and all these people.
we're going to do a big service that's like half Jesus stuff, half Jesus-scented Republican stuff.
And I think that these are the people for whom Trump really, really can count on their continued, continued support, because even though they might feel, you know, one way or another about the economic issues, or even though they might feel one way or another about the way things are going in the Middle East, for a lot of these people, it is actually –
become sort of a core central part of who they see themselves as as people, as Christians, as Americans, that they are these sorts of mega Christians who see this what's going on in America right now is this cataclysmic struggle
between the forces of light and the forces of darkness.
And they're not backing out of that fight just because they're paying more at the pump.
And I think when you see guys like Mike Johnson, Pete Hegseth, J.D.
Vance, even Donald Trump, when they talk about faith, that is the messaging that they're leaning into.
It's the us versus them, angels versus demons stuff that speaks to, again, this core of the core of the evangelical base.
That's okay.
