So, yeah, she was in St.
Pat's for that second time, and she... Obviously, you were aware of it at that time.
Yeah, I, like, visited her at that time, like, I knew what was going on.
But...
Or what did you... Yeah, yeah.
There was a lot of, I can't get out of bed.
But, like...
because she had chronic back pain.
Like she had, you know, had her spine fused like in the serious surgery in like 2015.
Like, so she was always struggling with like, you know, depression and chronic pain and taking painkillers, which to me was so normalized.
Like growing up in the house, like there'd be all these like
painkillers and stuff and I just thought that was normal that was like what had to be done because she was in so much pain and had all these surgeries and stuff and because dad was so sick as I said with all these different diseases he was also on not painkillers but like you know medications you know to help with all his illnesses and stuff so just having all these tablets around the house was so normalised because as I said she worked nights so she'd be in bed during the day so that was normal as well so the blur the lines kind of started to blur and then obviously when dad died
She was then unemployed because her back was so bad she couldn't care for people.
So she's unemployed.
She's alone in the house, isolated.
She's not seeing anybody.
You know, the grief is getting a lot.
So then, yeah, she just kind of turned.
And because she, you know, has been addicted to these painkillers for years and suffering with chronic depression.
Yeah, just turned to like addiction, basically.
