Like so I suppose I still have parental figures and like my mom's twin sister, Sharon.
my godmother is amazing.
And Judith, who I've mentioned before, is amazing.
Like, you know, they're always checking up on me.
So I still feel like I have parental figures.
And so it doesn't feel too bad.
But sometimes, like, I'll be chatting to people
like way older than me like colleagues or friends whatever and they're like yeah i was chatting to mom or sometimes i get a bit jealous when you know it'll be like did you have a good weekend did you enjoy the hot weather oh yeah i just went over to mom's and we had a barbecue went over to dad's and he cooked us burgers and stuff and they're like 40 and we're like ah i wish you know yeah is there an emptiness in you a little bit
Maybe, yeah.
I don't really... I haven't really come to terms with that yet.
Now, as I said, I do go to therapy and I've been really, like, trying to, like, accept it and understand, like, no, she's dead and, you know, and that's okay, like, and I'm, you know, upset.
But, like, I really went into, like... Like, I got straight on to our solicitor because there was, like, a life insurance policy that was from when dad died that was kind of drifting in probate.
So I wanted to get that sorted so that, like...
Because I couldn't support my brother and he can't support me.
And mum, when she died, she had no money left.
So I really wanted this money so that, like, I could support my brother and he could support himself and I could support myself.
So I was straight into solicitor and I was, like, you know, going 90 at that and filling out all the paperwork and stuff.
And then I remember when the money hit our bank account, like, I just burst into tears because I was like, this is...
useless to me I don't want this money I want two parents that I can ring about the football and laugh about our neighbour off the road like you know and then we're selling our house now and that's been a real process clearing out like your childhood yeah no that's that's been rough and then you're finding all these like documents so I have learned since then
that mum had bipolar type 2 this whole time.
