And then we all just like it was good because it was like COVID, you know, like we had nowhere or nowhere to be or nothing to do.

So we're all just together.

They brought in a like hospital bed into our house and all the palliative care people were in.

So it was

Yeah, it was like, it was really nice.

We were all together and then my aunt and stuff moved in, a couple of aunts moved in.

So it was like just this huge hospital our house turned into and all these people were coming and going during COVID and stuff.

So they gave him two months to live and he lasted four.

So he died in August then of 2020.

And I do remember being really relieved.

Yeah.

Because he just like, you could see him deteriorating.

And I remember a week before he died, he sat us all down because we were all living in our house, like all these different families and stuff.

our extended families and he was like my race is run lads I'm done like I really gave my best effort and I'm going to go now basically and he kind of knew like I just thought that was so brave to just be like I'm actually accepting that like my life is done and I thought that was so strange that he actually knew

He was like, almost like switching a light switch off.

You know, he was able to just be like, next week it's me.

Like, I'm gone, lad.

So bye bye for now.

We had a going away party for him in the summer when the weather got well.
