seemingly contains so much wisdom and knowledge from all throughout history and from so many different voices and perspectives and cultural and historical vantage points voice-verified

But, of course, that's a very particular and subjective kind of personal view to have on a library. voice-verified

Because as soon as you enter into it and you begin to explore its shelves, you might take down a volume of whatever book most intrigues you. voice-verified

The experience thereafter is very personal. voice-verified

That is to say, what I personally might take from a particular book voice-verified

someone else may not, and someone else taking up exactly the same volume of, say, Marcus Aurelius' Meditations may glean something voice-verified

entirely different from that book form very different conclusions perhaps from reading the text than i might do and of course there may be overlaps in the things we come to understand um voice-verified

And of course that would be very natural as we, these two fictional people, myself and this other person, are both human beings who presumably share some context in what it means to be human. voice-verified

And so of course reading the same text we may glean some of the same conclusions but also voice-verified

it wouldn't be completely out of the norm. voice-verified

I'm sure this is something you've experienced before, perhaps, if you've found that yourself and a friend, say, have read the same book, perhaps if you are both a part of the same book club. voice-verified

Then you will find that after having read the same book, voice-verified

you do come to very different conclusions. voice-verified

Especially so, I suppose, with fiction, which leads itself more openly to interpretation. voice-verified

But, like I say, even with something such as a volume of philosophy, we may glean very different conclusions. voice-verified

and also it might be the case in fact that we could read a volume of science or physics and of course where this is more prescribed and detailed and literal in its interpretation there will be a larger overlap in what we've understood voice-verified

there may still be room for nuance in the way that we've interpreted it and we could come away with very different interpretations yes but more so conclusions from the things that we've read which is an interesting thing to think about voice-verified

Because, I suppose, in a way, voice-verified

Often, perhaps on a subconscious level, we like to imagine that the facts of the world are in some way concrete, that they remain as solidly chiseled into stone, and that there are concrete truths that we can learn and take away with us. voice-verified

and the rest is falsehood but of course as we've just discussed two people coming upon the same information can take away from it very different things and so this begins to hint towards voice-verified
