And before I go more into detail about that specific discussion, I suppose it's worth mentioning the kinds of things that lead us to have different conclusions when we come upon the same volume. voice-verified

And these can be very many things, and the layers upon which they are stacked are many. voice-verified

But speaking thereof, it comes down, I believe, to interpretation of the text, and there are several ways voice-verified

in which we do interpret text when we come upon a book or any piece of written or graphical information, I suppose, and try to ingest it. voice-verified

It is all these layers of interpretation that differ from each individual. voice-verified

that lead us to come to different conclusions. voice-verified

Of course, the first layer, the most immediate layer, I would say is an interpretation of language. voice-verified

We take this step, I think, largely for granted, especially as adults, because the idea of reading is incredibly intuitive to us. voice-verified

In some instances, subconscious, there are voice-verified

experiments, psychological experiments that one can find to see how we are able to subconsciously read text on a level that influences us. voice-verified

So we're on certain levels able to read text without actually understanding that we have voice-verified

which is an interesting layer to what I'm about to say, really, but all of which to say we take very much for granted that when we are interpreting text, we are... voice-verified

staring at symbols that inherent to themselves don't really have meaning but put together in a particular order will convey a meaning and so we are passing that meaning from our understanding of language voice-verified

And of course, this may differ between a native English speaker reading English texts, for example, and someone who is speaking English as a second language. voice-verified
