which is of course, and it's perhaps something we don't have time to talk about today, but we know that meaning is subjective, or at least it can be readily argued that meaning is subjective, and therefore knowledge in a certain way is subjective. voice-verified

And going back to this voice-verified

idea of concrete fact that we started with of course we have this subconscious idea that facts and knowledge are in some way solid and immovable and there is a right thing and a wrong thing there are truths in the world and there are non-truths voice-verified

and of information to a certain degree we can say that this is true when we talk about literal things that are measurable in the universe as information these these things are concrete and they voice-verified

This is where truth runs up against existence, I suppose. voice-verified

In this analogy, we can begin to see truth or, pardon me, we can begin to see existence as a form of truth when discussing information. voice-verified

And then it is knowledge, really, that becomes the subjective element. voice-verified

And so, going back to our titular question, we walk into that library and feel the awe and the wisdom that surrounds us. voice-verified

Of course, a library contains much specific information that is being attempted to be conveyed by people, by other people. voice-verified

are all the words of human beings who are to a certain degree not attempting to impart information, they are in attempting to impart knowledge. voice-verified

Now the only way that they can impart it is through information and to a certain degree there is no way of translating directly and cleanly the knowledge of one mind to another. voice-verified

there will always be layers of interpretation between the conveyance of knowledge from one mind to another but nevertheless these books they do contain the attempts to convey this knowledge and so in that sense the library is full of knowledge voice-verified

in a way that is not just simply information. voice-verified
