Sashi, uh hopefully will be happy to hear we've got a lot going on.
Today at NAB, we have over three thousand of our um
uh data scientists and and coders, computer uh programming coders and software engineers using AI tooling uh so that we can write lines of code faster and more effectively.
Um, we're seeing about 25% improvement in speed and quality of of of code.
So that's just terrific.
We've got a solution in our contact centers where we've got o over 2,000 staff who take
uh both voice and uh chat based conversations from customers.
Uh and we've deployed uh Gen AI tooling where uh the agents can use natural language to uh interrogate the bank's processes and policies and get really high quality answers so that they can help customers more effectively and and more efficiently.
And some of the I've actually
sat by some of our um customer service staff while who were using it.
Young, young people, maybe first job out of university, and they describe it as transformational to their ability to help customers.
And we're really excited by that because the next stage, frankly, is to use these um tools direct to customer so that customers can actually engage with them with without even having to talk to
well I think I think for at least the foreseeable future we would disclose that um they're having a conversation with an AI agent uh and give them the choice if they wanted to have a conversation with a p uh a live person.
Well, I think uh as is the case with all advances in technology, you gotta make sure that um
your uh you understand any consequences or weaknesses um and that you you know deploy that technology safely.
For one of the things that we have to constantly be uh w vigilant on is as we're bringing building large language models that we can understand the security considerations of that so that we can keep our data and our customers' data safe.
You need to make sure that you're not contravening um
IP and infringing IP and so there's all sorts of things you have to be very, very thoughtful of as you deploy new capabilities in your environment.
And we certainly do that on a daily basis at the bank.
Um and you know, that's something that we're gonna continue to do as we deliver technology that's gonna make the lives of our customers and our bankers easier.
