In Alabama, they're supposed to be paying for a drug treatment program.
We don't know where the money's going.
And I mean, and a lot of people say, oh, well, you know, it's going to upset.
It's we don't need to upset the public.
What are you doing something for inside a slaughterhouse that would upset the public?
Like there are ways to โ if you want to euthanize an animal or something like that, there are ways to do it where you're not using like a bolt and smashing your skull with it.
And just imagine what would happen if
You know, what if Tyson Foods or any of these companies just the policy was just if the press wants to come in and photograph and the press wants to come in and write about it, they're allowed to come in once a week or whatever and just do whatever they want.
But like criminalizing taking video of animals being abused.
Like how could you justify that?
Yeah, but it is a big โ it's like a big tapestry because the diffusion of responsibility figures into it.
And the perverting effect of money figures into it.
I went to visit a prison.
I went sort of on a series of prison visits in Berlin and Norway and a few other places.
