As you rightly say, traditionally, both in banking and insurance, the the classic ownership model has been public ownership.
The really big operators are typically being publicly listed.
As a private equity investor, we're more interested in the private capital side of this.
And I think in insurance, you've seen a combination of private equity being heavily invested in the broking and distribution space, as we are at HG.
but also in very specific capital um vehicles, particularly in Bermuda and other markets.
Um and that that different ownership model obviously drives different things.
The one thing that really fascinates me is the is the return of the mutual.
So mutual ownership, which people probably thought was dead and buried twenty five years ago, seems to be making a re a recovery.
And uh I'd love to know your thoughts on sort of why that's happened and whether that's something that's gonna continue.
Yes.
And it's a it's uh I guess it's an it's a sort of not for profit organization, uh, where the benefits are shared amongst like minded people.
Yeah.
And it's interesting there, the I suppose the um that micro mutual that is
the the the selection process is is administered by the by the individuals who are part of it.
