I'm assuming from me having a budgie when I was a kid, my dad accidentally killed our budgie, Mickey.
Left it outside when Mickey was making too much noise.
Dad got too hammered with his mate, forgot about it, but didn't admit to that until years later.
And he froze to death.
Let me think that I had treated him poorly.
It's a story you've often told, and you're right, Bryce, a lot of calls and texts came through on other sad ways you've lost your budgie.
